Like many others Italian small cities. I have been to this small sea side village before. It started in about 1989 when I was Chairman of The Brooklyn, New York Chamber of Commerce. ANSI was Brooklyn sister Now, as then, I also come there to walk and to weep. First, the walking. The narrow streets and seaside district parking fields aide fast walks. If of course the walker arrives before the tourist crowds descend. It is easy to get here by train from Rome as I did. My fast walks through town are just a prelude to the coming hours when I will walk at a snails pace. That’s when I will observe every marker showing respect for all those lying beneath the earth at my feet.
