Home Again

For a few months in 1979 I lived in the newly invented town, Silver Springs, Maryland. Once a farm field this little berg was conceived for its massive homes, townhouses, apartments, schools, shopping centers, theaters and affordable housing. It survives, a super suburb, hoping to replace the city with prearranged buildings and preassigned people to every space. For me, I will take the wisdom of antiquated Washington, D.C.
