Romantic Quebec City
Enchanting, is a word to describe this story book city called Quebec. I have wobbled around the many cobble stone streets in the Petit Champlainf District on a number of occasions. It is like being in a small European village. The populous of course keeps the town with this wonderful feel. I always stay at the world renowned Hotel Frontenac. From here I walk through the expansive and elegantly maintained Plains of Abraham. Then I make my way back to the city walking to La Citadelle fortress. Everywhere there is a dramatic sense of history. I read all of the historical markers. It is remarkable how the British first captured this place and now it is very, very French.
