Soul of Seoul
It is my first trip to South Korea. Yet, the large white crosses visible from twenty miles away intrigue me as our jet liner glides to a landing. The Incheon Airport is large. Traffic abounds as we make our way into the glitter littered city. This looks like Las Vegas. Neon lights dominate every corner.
It is fortunate that I have time to walk. I must admit I am intimidated by the Korean language. I can’t read the road or shop signs. Unlike in China folks do not come up to me and say hello in broken English. The well dressed, cosmopolitan, people of Seoul move fast and with seeming determination. And, I have my first taste of the capital of South Korea.
